Class - Freshman Mrs. Turnis Class officers are elected in the fall.  Students need a nominating petition in order to participate in the election.  Officers meet a few times during the school year.  Main activity is a Freshman fundraiser
Class- Sophomore Mrs. Bethke Class officers are elected in April/May.  Duties include fundraising for the class operating the basketball concession stand for all home basketball games.
Class-Junior Mrs. Bethke Class officers are elected in April/May.  Duties include operating basketball concession stand for all home basketball games and Junior Prom in May.
Class - Senior Mrs. Steffen Class officers are elected in April/May.  Meetings begin spring of Junior year - 1 per month.  Duties include operating football concession stand, clothing sales at registration, BHS information sigh, Senior video and organizing Senior Week activities.
Computer Club

Student Council Mr. Jordan Meetings begin in July.  Officers are voted on in April/May. Sponsor school dances, including Homecoming and Homecoming activities. Sponsor Blood Drive.
Scholastic Bowl Mrs. Voorhees August through March
All students are welcome, tryouts for tournaments. Tournaments are on Saturdays. Captains are voted on by the team.  Uniform shirt must be purchased by the student.  Participants must remain academically eligible.
Science Olympiad Team Mrs. Sutter October through April
Competition in March/April.
Students prepare for competition in building balsa wood structures, bottle rockets, falling mass propelled cars, etc. and events in a wide variety of science & technology  subjects.
Speech Team   October through March
Meetings every Friday, practice during the week.  IHSA competitions on Saturdays.

Writer's Stage Mrs. Thomas First week of May
Due date for entries first week of April.  Four practices before assemblies and evening performance.  Anyone may submit original writing in a variety of categories.  The best are selected to be published in an anthology and the writer performs for school assembly and in the evening as part of Fine Arts Festival.
WYSE Team Mrs. Lawrence October through April
Students are nominated, volunteered or recruited based on academic talent to represent BHS in academic competition.  Regional, Sectional, and State competitions.

Youth Alive   Meets every Wednesday at 2:30 in room 23. Non-denomination Christian club that's open for everyone.
