Step #1 Make several small drawings inspired from Alberto Giacometti's work. Draw the figure to resemble the a very stretched out human. Try some different poses that create an interesting sculpture. Make a list of characteristics consistent with Giacometti's sculptures. Use those characteristics in your work.
Step #2 Start with 20 feet of wire. Shape the wire to resemble a very stretched out human figure. You may only use 20 feet of wire, but the sculpture will need to to have a strong armature. The sculpture must be at least 2 feet tall. Use your wire wisely.
Step #3 Attach the wire to a wooden base.
Step #4 Use plaster to coat the wire. Build up areas that should have some mass.
